It wasn’t time’s fault for such knock
Rather the knock that came with time
Meeting man not ready but willing
To end this moving trail with a cut
By slamming the door

So peacefully, it started with a soul
Counting steps to keep intact the line
With only a voice heard
Holding green that paves way to life
To uproot such a taint tutted growth

Now the heart bleeds with the soul
And the tears turned to blood
Being spilled once again now too thick
On the only right we’re left with
On the flag with wrongly spelt peace.

We went out because of our fallen brothers
To show how serious their blood is to us
But more we were given
Now our voices know no bound
For the sorrow which our heart can’t bear
